What is QWISO Hash?
QWISO is as way of collecting hash (cannabis resin) from marijuana. QWISO stands for “quick wash isopropyl”. By performing an extraction technique, the main active hallucinogenic compound from Marijuana can be collected, THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol.
QWISO is known to be the cheapest way to make high grade hash. It does not yield a big amount, but the extracted product is famously strong and potent. Many people who extract their own hash say that the process can be messy, because of its initial yield of a thick, dark, goopy ooze. This is because QWISO will extract the chlorophyll in the cannabis plant as well as the THC.
Precaution should be taken when attempting to make QWISO hash because isopropyl is highly flammable. It is advisable for QWISO hash to be made in a well ventilated area, preferably outdoors. Only electric burners should be used and never an open flame for heating.
Preparing QWISO hash takes at least a 70% isopropyl alcohol, coffee filters, a hot plate and weed. First the weed is added to the alcohol and shaken for up to a minute, depending on the concentration of the alcohol. Next, the solution is quickly strained on the coffee filter. Then, the strained liquid is heated up, until the alcohol totally evaporates. The final residue on the pan is then ready for scraping. The final product is the QWISO hash.
